Open an Excel workbook (.xlsx), choose a sheet, check its rows and download it as CSV. Formulas are not recalculated and macros never run: the values Excel saved are what you get.

Step 1: Choose a workbook

  • .xlsx workbooks up to 10.0 MB. Older .xls files, .xlsm, .xlsb and .ods are not supported: save them as .xlsx first.
  • Password-protected workbooks cannot be read. Remove the password in Excel first.
