Find duplicate rows in a CSV
Decide what makes two rows the same — the whole row, or just an email or ID column — then see every group and choose which row to keep.

Open a CSV file or an Excel workbook to check for duplicates
Drag a file here, or choose one: CSV, TSV or TXT up to 50.0 MB, Excel .xlsx up to 10.0 MB. Processed locally in your browser. File contents are not uploaded.
How it works
Match on the right thing
“Same row” usually means the whole row. “Same customer” usually means the same email or ID, even if the address changed. Pick one or more key columns for that; with several, all of them must match.
Rules you can see
- Exact by default: “Bell” and “bell ” are different values until you say otherwise.
- “Ignore capitalisation” and “Ignore extra spaces” apply only while comparing — your data is not changed.
- Blank keys never match unless you turn that on.
Three downloads
- Without duplicates — one row per group, original order.
- Duplicates only — the rows that would be removed.
- Group report — every row in a group, with the group number, kept/duplicate and its row number.
Limits
CSV, TSV and delimited text up to 50 MB; Excel workbooks (.xlsx) up to 10 MB, one sheet at a time (formulas are not recalculated; older .xls files are not supported). Values are compared as text, so1.0 and 1 are different — and in a workbook, as Excel shows them unless you choose the stored values.
Privacy
The file is processed locally in your browser; its contents are not uploaded. The site counts page views and a few anonymous usage events with Umami; they never include file names or contents.
